The purpose of this corporation shall be to improve the health and well being of the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho people residing on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming. Blue Mountain Associates LLC will achieve this purpose through developing and implementing a holistic array of programs that will create opportunities for healthy living following these specific goals:

1. Support healthy living through home gardening, farming, ranching and improved access to health, affordable locally produced foods.
   • Foster, promote and develop food sovereignty on the Wind River Indian Reservation i.e, the right of Native peoples to culturally produce food through ecologically sound and stable methods
   • Integrate traditional methods of food production into mainstream methods.
2. Improve the economic status of the Native people on the Wind River Indian Reservation through job training and job creation in the food sector and other economic opportunities that may arise.
3. Reduce the devastating debilitating and enervating impacts of substance abuse through meaningful work. Improve interpersonal relationships and restoring traditional, cultural, spiritual and ceremonial practices that are sensitive to and promote the cultural needs and concerns of the American Indian population and others struggling with marginalization and oppression.
   • Foster the integration of traditional healing process with mainstream methods of recovery.
